The Korean company behind iRiver, Reigncom, announced today a direct competitor for the iPhone. Begun as a concept at the CES 2008, and with little information released even in Korean press releases, it will feature a touchscreen (obviously), WiFi, a dictionary, PMP (video and audio), handwriting recognition software, and access to iTunes music stores like the “Bug Music Service”.
We’ll have to wait a bit more for more info, but is Iriver on the path of creating another “Jesus phone”?
